There is no doubt that the last few years have affected each of us.
Whether it's been through a loss of job, sickness, our mental well-being, and/or the loss of life, there have been days that have unbearable.
Just like many of you, the waves 🌊 of emotions that Covid has brought forth have been devastating.
2021 was in many ways more difficult for me with regards to my Medicare business. With premiums rising for Part B, prescription prices inflating, physicians leaving the practice of medicine, and just the cost of living going through the roof, many are on edge.
It felt as if the storms ⛈️ of life were pouring out on the whole world 🌎 and that storm ⛈️ was touching my heart and soul in ways that are difficult to put into words.
A storm that is affecting all and the remedies that were being introduced left me with discouragement and hopelessness.
A change was needed - A change that would allow me to continue servicing my Medicare clients, but to also shine a light on how things could be more hopeful to their health and well-being.
When you see hospitals merging leaving staff with confusion over new systems - Confusion that was affecting healthcare for all of us.
When you witness medication 💊 use that is out of control, depression on the rise, and the population getting sicker even before Covid, you question everything.
While you watch big pharma get richer 💰 while we wonder how to best care for ourselves, it only lead to more questions.
For the sake of my family and friends, I sought answers for natural healing with less medications and being more proactive with my health.
And in the middle of this powerful storm ⛈️, answers are continuing to come in.
Answers to bring hope to someone suffering.
Answers that activates your body to heal 🌿 the way that God intended.
Answers to an opportunity to choose what you earn while honoring your priorities.
The change was continuing to honor clients by helping them through this maze of Medicare, but also offering holistic solutions if they were open to another alternative.
This blog was another positive change to honor the gift of writing ✍️ and sharing information.
A business opportunity for those who want to be a light in the darkness that seems to be overwhelming many was another way for me to assist those who were seeking.
Lastly, I reached out to a friend for a new logo and shared with her what I was attempting to convey with the changes that were being made. Like always, she came through with the perfect logo - A logo that has far deeper meaning that meets the eye:
Lord, you are my lighthouse
A beacon of light in the midst of my stormy ⛈️ days
My sunshine ☀️, my guide, my everything
Nobody else compares to the love you give me
Whenever I'm in need, Lord, you always share your light with me
I find myself searching for it in all this fog 🌁
Sometimes I feel so lost, but then I look and there you are
To keep me safe from all this darkness
Alleviate all my fears and give me insight as I navigate through the turbulent waves 🌊 of life
Draw me close and hold my hand
Shine your light on me again
As you are my lighthouse
As these storms continue to press on, have courage.
Courage to believe in yourself as God believes in you.
Courage to look into alternatives for natural healing 🌿.
Courage to seek a business that can bring fulfillment and joy while shining a light on your passions.
And never forget that you may be the lighthouse in someone's storm - a gift 🎁 that is more powerful than the waves of the storm before us.
