THIS COLLAGEN IS NOT JUST FOR SKIN!!!

(For the record: I’m NOT making medical claims! But I am sharing my personal friends insane story! It’s hers to tell in her own words!)

I am so excited to tell you something!

ree

So let's talk about pain 😧.

I have to workout consistently to keep my muscles 💪 strong so that they can help hold my joints in place because my ligaments and tendons are so weak, due to my EDS.

I lift and run 🏃 on a treadmill and do HIIT training. I can't run 🏃 outside anymore due to the impact on my joints. It just hurts too badly afterwards.

But that is allright since we live in WA and the weather ☁️ outside isn't always great.

But this year even running inside has become painful.

Recently my hips have been starting to go.

I have moved up in weight that I am lifting, because it is time.

My muscles 💪 are ready for the increase, but my joints, my hips have shocked me by being in such pain the next day that it is hard to walk.

Also, I dislocated my shoulder earlier this year in my sleep 💤. This is a reoccurring injury and one that always just hurts.

But my ankles hurt, my knees always hurt, elbows had started to hurt a month or so ago and the list goes on.

So while not every pain is gone I have realized that my hips, knees, and shoulder have not hurt for quite a few days!!

Even after lifting so heavy on Saturday! I purposefully did a very hard workout with max weight to see how broken I would be after and while I was sore in my muscles due to the work, my hips did not glitch!

My knees were 100% golden, and my shoulder and elbow was silent! No screaming pain!

So while my face might not show any changes because I have pretty smooth skin already, my body is definitely shining!

I'm so excited for what is to come!!

There is much healing to be done internally and I can't wait to see how far this will take me. ”

As you can see by this story, collagen is not just for skin; it's also for joints and muscles as well.
