It Starts With Yellow

Yellow has become much more than a color to me.
It's become a reminder.
A reminder of light.
Of life.
Of hope.
Of growth.
And ultimately, the incredible wisdom God placed within each of us.
When I first began learning more about supporting the body's natural processes, I remember thinking that this was almost too good to be true.
So I did what I believe we should all do.
I started looking deeper.
I looked at the research.
I asked questions.
I wanted to understand the science rather than simply take someone's word for it.
That research introduced me to something I now refer to simply as Activation.
Activation simply supports the body's own natural pathways rather than always looking outside the body for the answer.
What if part of caring for our health is learning how to better support processes God already placed within us?
It gave me a completely different way of thinking about our health and it made me even more curious about the design of the human body.
But something else happened along the way.
I began looking at Scripture, too.
And that's when yellow started taking on an entirely different meaning for me.
Genesis begins with four simple words from God:
"Let there be light."— Genesis 1:3
Light came before plants.
Before animals.
Before humanity.
God established light as part of creation from the very beginning.
And throughout Scripture, light continues to represent life, truth, hope, and the presence of God.
Jesus Himself said:
"I am the light of the world."— John 8:12
The more I learned about the body, the more amazed I became by God's design.
Our bodies aren't random collections of parts.
They are beautifully interconnected systems created with an incredible capacity to respond and adapt.
That realization changed the way I approached my own health.
Instead of always asking,"What can I add?", I started asking,
"How can I better support what God already designed?"
That's where the meaning of yellow became personal.
Yellow reminds me of light.
Light reminds me of creation.
Creation reminds me of God's design.
And God's design reminds me that perhaps the first question isn't, "What do I need to fix?" but "What did God put in place that I can learn to support?"
Research matters to me.
But Scripture gives research a foundation.
I don't believe faith and learning have to compete with each other.
In fact, the more I learn about the human body, the more amazed I become by the One who created it.
So when you hear me say:
"It Starts With Yellow," I'm talking about much more than a color.
I'm talking about beginning with light.
Beginning with God's design.
Beginning with the belief that our bodies were created with wisdom and are worthy of our care.
Yellow has simply become my reminder to keep looking toward the Light.
A Gentle Invitation
The next time you notice yellow whether it's a sunrise, a flower, a highlighted verse, or even something completely ordinary, maybe you'll think about it a little differently.
For me, yellow has become a reminder that there is still so much to learn about the way God created us.
To stay curious.
To keep asking questions.
To appreciate the wisdom already built into our bodies.
And most of all, to remember that the more I learn about His creation, the more I find myself in awe of the Creator.
For me, that's where it starts.
It Starts With Yellow.
