"Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind."  Romans 12:2

Have you ever noticed how easy it is to focus on changing our habits while overlooking the thoughts that drive them?

We promise ourselves we'll eat better on Monday.

We'll finally start walking every morning.

We'll get more sleep.

We'll stop putting everyone else first.

Yet somehow, a few weeks later, we find ourselves right back where we started.

For a long time, I believed women simply needed better wellness information.

Eat more whole foods.

Move your body.

Prioritize sleep.

Manage stress.

And while I still believe those things matter, I've come to realize something even more important.

Lasting wellness doesn't begin with changing our habits. It begins with allowing God to transform our minds.

The Battle Begins in Our Thoughts

Every day, we're surrounded by messages telling us we aren't enough.

We're too old.

Too tired.

Not disciplined enough.

Not healthy enough.

If we believe those lies, our choices often follow.

But God offers us a different way.

Romans 12:2 reminds us that transformation begins with the renewing of our minds.

A Biblical Mindset Changes Everything

When our minds are anchored in God's truth, our choices begin to change naturally.

We don't move our bodies because we hate them.

We move because they're a gift from God.

We don't choose nourishing foods because we're chasing perfection.

We choose them because we're grateful for the bodies He's entrusted to us.

We don't rest because we've earned it.

We rest because God created rest before He created busyness.

The goal is no longer to become someone different.

The goal is to faithfully steward the life we've already been given.

Why I'm Dedicating August to Biblical Mindset

This month, I want to invite you to slow down and allow God's Word to shape the way you think.

Throughout August, we'll walk through the word AUGUST, exploring biblical truths that renew our minds and help us live with greater peace, and intention.

We'll spend time in Scripture.

We'll pray together.

We'll talk about practical wellness through the lens of God's design.

Most importantly, we'll remind one another that our identity is found in Christ and not in the number on a scale, our age, or our past.

My Prayer for You

My prayer is that by the end of this month, you'll feel less overwhelmed by the world's opinions and more anchored in God's truth.

That you'll stop striving for perfection and begin embracing faithful stewardship.

Because when your mind is renewed by God's Word, everything else begins to change.

Let's spend this month becoming a little more anchored, one Scripture, one prayer, and one step of faith at a time.
